Although when you look for good recipes of couscous, you will rarely find Algerian cuisine mentioned, nevertheless, it has some amazing recipes to offer us, and today, I would like to show you how to make Algerian chicken couscous.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
Ingredients
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 12 merguez
  • 1 eggplant
  • 2 courgettes
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 large turnip
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 small cans of tomato paste
  • olive oil
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 tablespoons ras el hanout
  • 500g chickpeas
  • Harissa
Instructions
  1. Now, let’s prepare our Algerian chicken couscous:
  2. Peel the carrots, turnips and tomatoes. Cut into cubes the eggplant and zucchini.
