Chicken meatballs tagine
This is far from being a traditional chicken tagine, but it is very delicious and will surprise most of your family members or friends when you prepare it, it has a thick and flavorful sauce that you will absolutely like.
Here are the ingredients:
Ingredients
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 onion, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 paprika
  • A pinch of saffron
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • For the chicken:
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 100 ml water mixed with 2 tablespoons of flour
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
    The Sauce:
  2. In a tagine, cook onion in oil and butter
  3. Add spices, garlic and bouillon cube with a little water
  4. Cook on low heat
  5. Chicken Meatballs:
  6. In a bowl, place the ground chicken, spices, mustard, parsley, cream and breadcrumbs.
  7. Mix everything very well
  8. Make meatballs and place in the tagine with the onion sauce
  9. Add the glass of water mixed with flour, cover and cook.
