Chicken tagine casserole
Here are the ingredients you need to prepare this very delicious chicken tagine casserole:
Ingredients
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 large shallots
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons curry
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of thyme
  • parsley
  • garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Instructions
  1. Now, let’s prepare our tagine:
  2. In a tagine, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 sliced shallots, a small bunch of chopped parsley, a clove of minced garlic and a small handful of thyme or herbes de Provence. Add the chicken breasts cut into cubes and stir. Cover and cook over low heat until the meat is cooked.
  3. During cooking, peel vegetables (peel the tomatoes and empty them of their seeds), cut into pieces (the smaller they are the quicker they are going to cook).
  4. First add the potatoes and carrots and other vegetables. Add the spices and 1/2 cup of water.
  5. Cook for about 30/45 minutes over very low heat, watching carefully if it lacks water. If necessary, add 1/2 cup of water.
  6. Cook 2 eggs, in order to get hard-boiled eggs. When they are cooked, peel them and cut them in half, add them on top of the dish.
