Chicken Tunisian tagine
Preparing a tagine doesn’t always mean that it is going to be Moroccan style, you can do so in different varieties and styles, and a favorite of mine is the Tunisian style as well.

- 500 g of chicken
- 500 grams of potatoes
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1 pinch of turmeric
- Salt and pepper
- 200g grated cheese
- 8 eggs
Instructions
- Now for the preparation:
- Cook 3 hard-boiled eggs. Peel and cut them into small pieces. Keep for later.
- Preheat your oven to 200 ° C.
- In a saucepan, bring 1 liter of salted water to boil.
- Peel and cut the potatoes into large sticks. Dip them in boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes. The sticks must remain firm. Drain and let cool.
- Cut the potato sticks into cubes. Cut lamb or chicken into small dices. Wash the parsley in running water. Chop.
- Beat the remaining eggs in a bowl.
- Mix the diced potatoes, meat, hard boiled eggs, and parsley. Add the beaten eggs, grated cheese, turmeric and capers. Salt and pepper.
Pour into a greased Pyrex dish. - Bake 25 to 30 minutes. The bottom of the tagine should be golden.
Serve cold.
