Chicken Tunisian tagine

Chicken Tunisian tagine
Preparing a tagine doesn’t always mean that it is going to be Moroccan style, you can do so in different varieties and styles, and a favorite of mine is the Tunisian style as well.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
Ingredients
  • 500 g of chicken
  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 pinch of turmeric
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200g grated cheese
  • 8 eggs
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
  2. Cook 3 hard-boiled eggs. Peel and cut them into small pieces. Keep for later.
  3. Preheat your oven to 200 ° C.
  4. In a saucepan, bring 1 liter of salted water to boil.
  5. Peel and cut the potatoes into large sticks. Dip them in boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes. The sticks must remain firm. Drain and let cool.
  6. Cut the potato sticks into cubes. Cut lamb or chicken into small dices. Wash the parsley in running water. Chop.
  7. Beat the remaining eggs in a bowl.
  8. Mix the diced potatoes, meat, hard boiled eggs, and parsley. Add the beaten eggs, grated cheese, turmeric and capers. Salt and pepper.
Pour into a greased Pyrex dish.
  9. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. The bottom of the tagine should be golden.
    Serve cold.
