Fish filet tagine

  • White fish fillets
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 carrots, cut into strips
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into cubes
  • Water
  • Olives
  • 3-4 pieces of preserved lemon
Instructions
  1. The preparation:
    Heat the tagine and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil
    In a bowl, combine the remaining oil, garlic, parsley, lemon juice and spices.
  2. Mix very well
  3. Place the fish fillets in this mixture and place on another plate
  4. In the tagine, add the carrots, tomatoes, and place the fish fillets on top
  5. Pour a little water in the bowl where the marinade was prepared and add it to the tagine
  6. Cover the tagine and cook for 40 minutes
  7. Add the olives and preserved lemon pieces in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
