Green peas and beef tagine
This is one of my favorite recipes to prepare when I have friends around, it is very easy, very beautiful and most importantly, it is very delicious, especially if it is eaten the Moroccan way, using bread for dipping.
Here are the ingredients:
Ingredients
  • Half a kilo of beef cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into strips
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • A pinch of saffron
  • Have a teaspoon pepper
  • One teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • Half a teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, use olive oil if you have it
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • 1 large tomato, grated
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
    In a tagine, place the oil, meat, spices, garlic, parsley, onion and tomato
  2. Mix together and start cooking on very low heat
  3. Add green peas halfway
  4. Serve in a beautiful serving tagine while still warm by placing the beef at the bottom, green peas on top and the sauce around.
  5. You can serve with olives and preserved lemon pieces decorated on top.
