Lamb and French fries tagine
If you have kids around, they are going to enjoy this lamb tagine; it is so unique and flavorful.
Of course, it should not be eaten every day, because of the French fries; however, you can enjoy it in a good-looking serving tagine with mint tea occasionally.

- 4 potatoes, for the French fries, you can use frozen one
- 1/2 kilo of lamb
- 2 onions
- 1 tomato
- Lamb flavoring, it is optional
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Canola oil (for the fries)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 cloves of garlic
- One cup of water, you may add more during the cooking process
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- Now for the preparation:
In a cooking tagine, put the onions , chopped tomatoes, chopped parsley, chopped garlic, Lamb flavoring, salt, pepper, saffron, ginger, cumin, and a little olive oil and stir with a wooden spoon - Add the lamb and turn on all sides so that it absorbs the flavors of the spices and vegetables
- Add a little water so that the meat does not stick during cooking
- Cook on low heat until the lamb is cooked and tender
- In a separate saucepan, put oil to heat
- Cut the potatoes into strips or into small cubes and add to the oil when it is hot in order to make the French fries
- Serve the dish by putting the lamb at the bottom, the sauce on top and then place the fries on top.
