Oriental lentils and chickpeas couscous
Couscous demands a lot of time and efforts to make, that’s why there are so many brands of precooked-instant couscous you can buy, in this recipe, we are going to use a famous brand in Europe, you can use any other brand you find where you live.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
Ingredients
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 zucchini
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 4 branches or 400g chard cut into chunks
  • 500g lamb
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 100g canned chickpeas
  • 100g green lentils
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 bag couscous scented spice tipiak
Instructions
  1. Now, let’s prepare our couscous:
  2. Wash and chop the onion and zucchini. Wash and cut tomatoes and chard into pieces. Cut the meat into large pieces.
  3. In a large pot, sauté onion in oil, then add the meat, chick peas, chard, lentils, zucchini and tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper.
  5. Cover with hot water, bring to a boil and cook for about 30 minutes.
    10 minutes before the end of cooking, prepare the couscous flavored with spices as shown in the instructions in the package.
  6. Finally
    Serve the couscous with meat and vegetables.
