Oriental lentils and chickpeas couscous
Couscous demands a lot of time and efforts to make, that’s why there are so many brands of precooked-instant couscous you can buy, in this recipe, we are going to use a famous brand in Europe, you can use any other brand you find where you live.

Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 zucchini
- 3 tomatoes
- 4 branches or 400g chard cut into chunks
- 500g lamb
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 100g canned chickpeas
- 100g green lentils
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 bag couscous scented spice tipiak
Instructions
- Now, let’s prepare our couscous:
- Wash and chop the onion and zucchini. Wash and cut tomatoes and chard into pieces. Cut the meat into large pieces.
- In a large pot, sauté onion in oil, then add the meat, chick peas, chard, lentils, zucchini and tomatoes.
- Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper.
- Cover with hot water, bring to a boil and cook for about 30 minutes.
10 minutes before the end of cooking, prepare the couscous flavored with spices as shown in the instructions in the package. - Finally
