Peach chicken tagine
During the peach season, you can enjoy these fruits in so many ways and styles, but I bet that you have never tried making a peach tagine. It is amazing.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
Ingredients
  • 6 pieces of chicken of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 peaches
  • 2 onions
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns or cumin (to taste)
  • 4 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Almonds
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
  2. Cut the chicken into pieces and brown in oil in a cooking tagine.
  3. Meanwhile, peel and slice the onions. When the chicken is golden brown, replace it with the onions.
  4. Add the honey when the onions become translucent. Caramelize a few minutes. Return the chicken pieces. Add the spices. Salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 1 hour over low heat covered, keep monitoring and adding water if necessary.
  5. Finally
    10 minutes before the end of cooking, add the peeled peaches cut in halves, almonds and then, just before serving, chopped coriander.
