Potato and green peas beef tagine
This potato and green peas beef tagine is a very famous dish because it is delicious and very easy to make, and here are the ingredients required:
Ingredients
  • Half a kilo of beef cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into strips
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • A pinch of saffron
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • Half a teaspoon of salt (to taste)
  • Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
  • One tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 125 ml of warm water
  • 1 cup of frozen green peas
  • 1 large tomato, grated
  • 3 potatoes cut into wedges
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
    In a tagine, place the meat, onion, tomato, spices, oil, parsley, garlic and mix well
  2. Add a little water and cook over low heat for as long as it requires, this depends on the beef’s quality
  3. Remove the meat when cooked
  4. Add potatoes and green peas in the tagine and let them cook
  5. Serve warm by placing the beef in a serving tagine, green peas and potatoes on top and the sauce around.
