Potato and green peas beef tagine
This potato and green peas beef tagine is a very famous dish because it is delicious and very easy to make, and here are the ingredients required:
Ingredients
- Half a kilo of beef cubes
- 1 onion, cut into strips
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- A pinch of saffron
- Half a teaspoon of pepper
- Half a teaspoon of salt (to taste)
- Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
- One tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 125 ml of warm water
- 1 cup of frozen green peas
- 1 large tomato, grated
- 3 potatoes cut into wedges
Instructions
- Now for the preparation:
In a tagine, place the meat, onion, tomato, spices, oil, parsley, garlic and mix well - Add a little water and cook over low heat for as long as it requires, this depends on the beef’s quality
- Remove the meat when cooked
- Add potatoes and green peas in the tagine and let them cook
- Serve warm by placing the beef in a serving tagine, green peas and potatoes on top and the sauce around.
