Potatoes and green peas lamb tagine

Here are the ingredients required:
Ingredients
  • Half a kilogram of lamb
  • 250 grams of green peas
  • 3 potatoes cut into wedges
  • 1 tomato, grated
  • 1 onion, cut into strips
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 chopped cloves of garlic
  • A pinch of saffron
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Two tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
Instructions
  1. Now for the preparation:
    Place the onion in a tagine pot with oil over low heat
  2. Grate the tomatoes and add spices, garlic and parsley
  3. Mix together and add the meat and a little water
  4. Cook until the meat is tender and nearly cooked
  5. Add the potatoes and green peas and cook again until the vegetables are completely cooked and tender
  6. Don’t forget to add the potatoes and green peas around the meat on top
