Raisins and onion chicken tagine
This recipe will definitely remind you of the fantastic flavors of the Moroccan cuisine, it is very easy to make and will satisfy your cravings for sweet and tasty dishes.
The ingredients:
Ingredients
  • One whole chicken
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • A pinch of saffron
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
Instructions
  1. The preparation:
    In a cooking tagine, place the onion, chicken, oil, spices and mix very well
  2. Add water and cook for at least thirty-five minutes, or when the chicken is tender and well cooked
  3. When the chicken is cooked, remove it and add the parsley and raisins and cook until the raisins are soft and mushy
  4. Serve hot.
