Soy sauce couscous
Although this recipe is a bit strange, it is nevertheless very delicious and I’m sure that you will enjoy it a lot.
I called it soy sauce couscous because we are going to use a large amount of soy sauce, so, don’t add any salt to this recipe while making it.

- 1 large zucchini
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 4 carrots
- 350g chickpeas
- 1 large onion
- 3 glasses of tomato puree
- 1/2 bouillon cube for couscous
- Two tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups semolina
- 2 glasses of water
- 40 g butter
Instructions
- Now, let’s prepare our soy sauce couscous:
- Cut the carrots and onion into small pieces. Cook with the bouillon cube, tomato puree and about 1 cup of water. Add soy sauce, stir and cover.
- Cut zucchini and peppers into medium pieces, and then add the cooked carrots. Don’t forget to add the chickpeas.
- Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Ten minutes before serving, prepare your couscous using the following method:
- Put butter in a small pot, pour two cups of boiling water over it, mix the melted butter and then add the semolina. Mix well and then cover for 5 minutes.
- Finally
Fluff the couscous with a fork and let it breath for 1-2 minutes and cover until ready to serve. - Serve your couscous at the bottom and vegetables on top, use the broth to add liquid and saltiness to the couscous semolina.
