White beans and beef tagine
This beans tagine recipe is a bit time-consuming, but you are going to enjoy the results a lot.

Ingredients
- 250 g of dried white beans soaked overnight
- 300 grams of diced beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes cut into small pieces
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
- A pinch of paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper (to taste)
- Two tablespoons of vegetable oil, preferably extra-virgin olive oil
- One tablespoon of tomato paste
- Water
- 1 carrot, diced (optional)
Instructions
- Now for the preparation:
In a saucepan or a good quality cooking tagine, fry the meat in oil to brown it - Add the onion, spices (cumin, salt, pepper, paprika) and a little water so that the meat does not stick. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes
- Add remaining ingredients (beans, tomato paste, tomato, garlic, carrot) and enough water to cover everything
- Cook for 25 minutes in a pressure cooker or if you are using a tagine,
- Cook as long as possible, your beans tagine dish is ready when they are tender and the sauce is thick.
- Serve in a warm serving tagine.
